Ballooning | Auckland
Balloon Expedition for individuals and/or groups of up to 16 people (usually 8 ).Balloon flights are by nature dependent on wind speed and direction. Therefore most of our flights take place over Auckland's North West and or the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour, but we do on occasion fly Auckland City.
We meet our passengers at the Westgate Centre at the North end of the North Western Motorway outside Starbucks by the round about at sunrise on the appointed day. From there we provide transport to our launch field, chosen on the day according to the wind direction. We encourage our passengers to assist with preparing the balloon for their flight (not compulsory).
Flight duration is approximately 1 hour, however the availability of suitable landing sites will determine the actual time in the air. Following our flight we collapse and pack the balloon, then provide you with a complimentary snack breakfast which includes local sparkling wine and croissants, cheeseboard and fresh fruit.
