Wairunga is a sheep farming property that has its own 9 hole golf course. In the past it has operated as a function centre with full bar facilities, but in recent years the Musterers cottage and Shearer's quarters have been renovated to provide comfortable self contained accommodation for guests. And now in conjunction with our neighbours we can provide a 10km walk through native bush and farmland with breath taking views of Hawkes bay and the Pacific Ocean.
The nine hole par 35 golf course offers a varied and challenging game over rolling terrain, through native trees and reserves. It is a country course and sheep do their part in maintaining the fairways. The season runs from November till the end of March.
